In the project "Setup of a geothermal information system for Germany" (2006-2009), data on physico-chemical fluid properties were compiled and validated. Exclusively boreholes with hydraulic tests were used, whereby the fluid properties were mostly sampled during those tests. In North-Eastern Germany 217 samples were evaluated, in the Upper Rhine Graben 194 and in the Southern German Molasse Basin 55
